AIDA 1 COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to be an introduction to recreational freediving for the complete beginner. It aims to help the student to develop basic skills, knowledge and safety procedures necessary to enjoy freediving safely.
The course will tackle basic freediving equipment, breathing techniques for preparation and after a breathold, equalization techniques, the basic safety for freediving.
AIDA 1 in open water allows you to go 10m max.
PREREQUISITES
18 years of age or older (16 years with parent or guardian consent)
Swimming Skills (able to swim 100m non stop)
Registration, Medical, and Liability Waivers.
FORMAT
The course is composed of:
1 Theory Session, 1 Breathold Session, 1 Dive Session.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
There are no certification requirements for AIDA 1.
